AhlulBayt News Agency: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar have had a telephone conversation on the latest regional developments, exploring ways to settle the ongoing crises in the region, according to an announcement by Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry.
During their conversation on Saturday, the two foreign ministers stressed the need for promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond. They agreed to remain in close contact.
President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif are also expected to hold a phone conversation later today.
Pakistan hosted talks between top-ranking delegations from Iran and the United States following a ceasefire in the US-Israeli-imposed war against Iran last weekend.
